Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sustainable Schools International.  Raising awareness and finances is an integral part of making SSI successful in it's mission to empower Cambodian Communities to support their own schools.

So how can I help?

It's easy and fun.  Since 2001 hundreds of people have volunteered to spread the word by:

Hosting a Book discussion!

• Discussion with the author - Kari will call into your book group via telephone

Host a Speaking Event for our founder Kari Grady Grossman

• Encourage friends and family to come and be inspired.
• Contact us to schedule and event
• Challange yourself! Choose a goal amount for your event to raise!
  • $5,000 will sponsor 50 students for a year.
  • $3,000 will build a teacher house
  • $1,000 will fund our music program for a year

Help with a Chari-tea event or alternative gift fair and talk it up!

We have a booth at events throughout the year selling ice tea or hot tea from Happy Lucky's teahouse where we get to chat about SSI with every cup of tea sold and generate donations too!   We always need helpers.

Help us find people with a passion for Cambodia or education who would like to join our Founder's Council.  Our founders make a legacy gift of $10,000 and become members of the Sustainable School International Founder's Council forever.

Start a regional SSI Ambassador Chapter

• Mobilize others in your area who would like to become part of the Ambassador's Club and work together in your community to raise awareness and support for sustaining schools in Cambodia and around the globe!
